Summer Horse Camp

For horse lovers between the ages of 9 and 13, we offer several camp opportunities to include learning activities about horses in general and therapeutic riding specifically.  These camps are offered during the summer, over Christmas vacation and during Spring Break.

During camp, all activities are designed to help the campers become a more effective volunteer in the future and include a daily riding lesson.

For more information about Junior Volunteer Camps, please contact Melissa Conner, Program Coordinator, at 757-566-1775.

School Groups

We have a successful school group program where self-contained special education classes throughout our region are given the opportunity to experience therapeutic riding for a six to eight week session as part of their curriculum.  Some of the funding for this program has been provided by the Williamsburg Community Health Foundation, and some groups are privately sponsored.

The groups are taught by PATH certified instructors who also have years of experience working in general and special education in the public school system.

For more information on our school groups, please contact Kim Wendell, our School Group Instructor, at 757-566-1775.
